
AFE Technical Session: Non-indigenous Plants, Insects, and Slugs of Concern; How to Find Help

Invasive species in Alaska are a growing threat to areas on and off the road system. Non-indigenous species naturalized in Alaska number in the few hundred for plants, around 80 insects, and at least 6 slugs. Learn how to know which of these non-indigenous species are harmful enough to be considered invasive in your area, how to find out more information about them, and resources to help with identification and management.
