AFE 2022: Local and Statewide Partnerships for Invasive Species Management – What They’re Doing and How You Can Get Involved

April 20 @ 11:00 am - 12:00 pm

Invasive species prevention and management are strong across the state and there are local, regional and statewide partnerships collaborating for success. Learn about the statewide efforts of the Alaska Invasive Species Partnerships (AKISP), case examples from regional multi-entity engagement and examples of local efforts by Cooperative Invasive Species Management Areas (CISMA) in Alaska, and how to engage the public in invasive species projects. You will leave with knowledge of how to work with your community and public land managers to form a successful CISMA and how you can get involved with the AKISP, and invasive species management actions statewide.
