Alaska’s birds – an important food source, a means of connection with the outdoors, and who helps keep pesky mosquitos at bay – are an integral part of many Alaskan’s lives and to the ecosystem as a whole. The Migratory Bird Treaty Act was established to conserve birds and compliance with the Act is important for a variety of activities and industries.
