AFE 2022: Best Management Practices to Prevent Introductions of Invasive Species During Alaskan Activities

Hiking, gardening, fishing, hunting, berry picking, and all the ways you transport your party (e.g. boat or all-terrain vehicle) can contribute to the introduction and spread of harmful invasive species. This session will introduce you to easily adopted best management practices that can prevent the introduction and spread of invasive species during favorite activities in and around your community. Specifically, we will cover, recommendations for boaters, hikers, and anyone enjoying the Alaskan outdoors; including gardening, and traveling with pack animals, sled dogs, or all-terrain vehicles.
